Giacomo Figà Talamanca is a PhD student and researcher within the NeuroSys cluster. After completing his bachelor degree in Philosophy at Sapienza University of Rome, he graduated his Research Master's in Philosophy of Mind at Radboud University, with a thesis exploring how the interface of existing social media platforms is designed to frustrate social cognition and interaction. His primary research focus consists in the application of theories from philosophy of mind to understand the moral implications of emerging and disruptive technologies, as well as their impact on human autonomy and vulnerability. His other interests include (digital) epistemology, Wittgenstein, and the dynamics of joint action.
