Jared Parmer is a postdoctoral researcher whose work is in the intersection of value theory (especially meaning in life), action theory, and the ethics of technology. Currently, he is working on the ethics of 'user-experience' design approaches to human-technology interaction, and the future of meaningful work. He received his PhD in Philosophy from Stanford University in 2021, and holds an MS in Applied Economics from Florida State University. Previously, he has been a visiting PhD researcher at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Freie Universität Berlin.
