I am a Computational Social Systems student at RWTH Aachen, where I also received my Bachelor’s in Computer Science. I am interested in how recent advances in Machine Learning can be applied in the social sciences and humanities. Specifically, understanding social systems and modeling human behavior using computational methods. This also got me interested in the core ethical questions surrounding these new methods. That is, how fairness, responsibility and privacy are effected by the increasing use of complex algorithms in digital society.
